Ok guys...never heard of this company before. I was just goofin with my Peavey Revalver (Demo) and came across this. I have been searching for my guitar and bass tone for what seems like forever and I have a ton of demo software on my Mac right now. Revalver has a feature in the interface that is supposed to let you load 3rd party VST's into their interface and use them within Revalver. So I was trying this out. Could not get it to load correctly and it kept crashing Revalver over and over without even loading the menu of Vst's I have on the Mac. This message kept coming up and saying there was some software missing bla, bla...So I go to the Pace website and download the drivers and thats when it happened. Firestudio Mobile went out of sync and would not resync even after several restarts. So I uninstalled the Pace Drivers and all is back to normal. I'm just giving a heads up so maybe the gurus can check into this a little further and maybe this could be a solution or fix to some peoples problems with the Firestudio sereis interfaces.
Like I said, Most of my amp sims and some of my 3rd party Vst's are in demo mode and I dont know if this makes a difference but, MAN WAS I FREAKING OUT. I have been one of the lucky ones without a glitch since I first rec'd my FS Mobile and downloaded Studio One.

Strange. My FSM works perfectly fine with Pace software. But, that's probably because I have the iLok that's required to run the Pace software. Pace is looking for your iLok and has found your FSM. Uninstall it, then uninstall the FSM. Uninstall any cracks you might have. Download and run eusing registry cleaner. Reboot and resinstall Universal Control. The latest drivers are up by the way.
Hopefully that will restore the FSM.
Sorry. I see you're running OSX. In that case forget about running eusing. It's windows only. The Mac drivers are here.

I am running an iLOk as well and have zero issues. Strange stuff. Luck has been on my side during the studio one adventure. Hope you get it resolved.

I'm also running the iLok, I've run with the v1 in the past and currently on v2. All my systems run equally smooth with the FSM, with or without the iLok plugged in.
Make sure you install the latest drivers for the FSM, the iLok (I always install both the client and the other one).

The Ilok is the much discussed dongle used to prevent the use of illegal software, employed by several companies. Cubase has something similar as does Vienna, some are even interchangeable.
If revalver starts and runs (more or less) it means it does not require an Ilok. However, if it does install Pace drivers (as a legacy from earlier version when it required an Ilok) and those mess up your system... That means there must something that tickles the security of their protection mechanism.
Really haven't you heard of Pace Anti-Piracy? Never? The list of software houses using it is huge, sure having a lot of demos you should have run into some company who requires it to donwload their trials.
Hue's advice in my opinion will help you sort this out, clean everything.

I run some iLok applications here and have no troubles.
I did have a fiasco one time though when I tried some demo of a Waves plugin and it screwed with my licensed Waves programs and things got hosed.
The tech support people helped me sort it out, but it wasn't pretty for a bit.
I sold all my Waves stuff though and never looked back.

It almost happened to me too, my WUP expired a few days before V6 was released but I missed the update... Then I tried to install the GTR solo and bam! The installer went like: all your expired licenses are belong to us (WUP it you moron!).
Before the installer could accomplish his evil plan to uninstall previous licenses I hit the reset button on my pc.... Phew! I saved 170 euros out of good reflexes, that much did the update plan cost at the time
Now I'm very careful with demos and whatnot, if I don't need new functionalities I don't even look for new programs
